Accent CL720W Wood Bb Clarinet: All New Pads plus Vandoren 5RV Mouthpiece! (E11)

This granadilla wood Accent is a beautiful example of a German-made clarinet that would be considered an intermediate model or a step up from a plastic student model. This instrument was made at the same facility in Germany that makes the Buffet E11. All parts are interchangeable with the E11, so they have equivalent performance. As you can see in the photos, the sterling silver keys have polished up nicely. The wood body doesn't have any cracks. This instrument was just serviced: taken apart and polished, all new Valentino pads were installed, plus it was lubricated and the key height was adjusted when it was re-assembled. I've found that often it's the small adjustments that make a big difference in how enjoyable an instrument is to play.
I started playing clarinet 56 years ago and these days I restore clarinets exclusively. Over the years I've refurbished more than 1,200 of these Bb clarinets, many of which have been sold here on Ebay. After testing this clarinet, I've found that it does everything well- it plays easily from top to bottom and has that rich Buffet sound. The tone is enhanced by an excellent Vandoren mouthpiece.
This clarinet comes with a Vandoren 5RV mouthpiece which will really make it sing! These Vandoren mouthpieces usually cost about 0. Also comes with new cork grease and a new reed. The case has normal wear and works well. The serial number is 890856 (matching on upper and lower joints). Next to the serial number it is stamped "Made in Germany".
