Item Description
The
Buffet Crampon Tradition Clarinet in Bb
(b-flat) is a relatively new addition to the well-known professional clarinet collection by Buffet Crampon. In collaboration with musicians (soloists and orchestral players) they came together to share their overall experiences of the clarinet. From this a new design for a new model clarinet was created, they called it: Tradition. It is partly inspired by the early Buffet Crampon model BC20.
For the Tradition, Buffet Crampon has returned to a cylindrical bore, which has the same diameter throughout the clarinet. This is in contrast to the poly-cylindrical bore of the RC and R13 family, which has become the standard with Buffet since the 1950's. The traditional bore has been combined with modern developments and technology as we find on today’s professional clarinets, but the objective of the Buffet Tradition was to offer a clarinet in its most natural form, with no unnecessary changes or overstated technology.
The Buffet Crampon Tradition comes with specifications that you can expect from a modern professional clarinet, such as a beautifully finished Grenadille body in natural color, power-forged and silver-plated 18/6 key mechanism with E-lever and pads made of Goretex, leather and Cork. The Tradition has a truly distinctive character and is frequently chosen over the RC and R13 clarinets by experienced players. The instrument has a rich, sweet, warmed sound, allows to play with less force and has consistent intonation in all registers. The Buffet Tradition comes with two barrels, to allow easy switching between 440Hz and 442Hz.

Delivery and Returns
We ship worldwide. We take care in packing our articles safely. All instruments sold by us are carefully set up and play-checked prior to shipping. You will receive a notification and tracking number that your shipment went out.
Within European Community
: We ship with Netherlands Priority Post. Delivery is 2 - 5 working days.
Outside of the European Community
: We ship with Netherlands Priority Post which then hooks up with delivery companies such as USPS. Delivery worldwide is 1 - 2 weeks.
If you wish to have your order send with a different postal service that is possible. Please let us know and we will contact you regarding the possibilities and possible extra costs.
Returns
: We extend 30 days time to either fall in love with your purchase or return it. If you decide to return it we will refund your money and we ask you to pay the return shipping only.
