Buffet R13 Nickel A Clarinet with Double BAM case selected by major orch players

Buffet R13 Grenadilla Nickel Plated A Clarinet (used) with a Double BAM case included. This Buffet A clarinet is a great instrument and I'm actually sad to part with it! It was selected by Ixi Chen (Cincinnati Symphony), Stanley Drucker (former NY Phil Principal), and Dan Gilbert (former 2nd of The Cleveland Orchestra) at the Buffet Crampon Clarinet academy years and years ago. The instrument is around 9-10 years old now and has a warm/dark sound and despite the length of its playing still has very good intonation throughout. I purchased the instrument when I was a sophomore in undergraduate conservatory and it has served me well making the finals of orchestra auditions. The instrument has also never cracked and the pads on the instrument currently are holding up really well. You can see through the pictures work has been done on the instrument where I've even taped tone holes to improve the intonation of the instrument. Melanie Wong (former NYC Buffet technician) worked on it many years ago and even on the bell there is a small hole drilled to improve intonation/stuffiness of the Low E. I don't have the original barrel that came with the instrument, but I'll include a new stock R13 greenline barrel 65mm with the instrument. The double BAM case is used (could use a bit more cleaning), but it's quite sturdy (has backpack straps) and happy to include this with the purchase of this A clarinet.
