You a viewing an absolutely Gorgeous Buffet R13 professional wood clarinet! Serial #233734 and matching on both upper and lower joints. Upgraded Buffet Moennig 1131 640 barrel! The year of this clarinet based on the serial number is early 1960’s to early 1970’s. This serial number means that this beautifully restored Buffet R-13 is of the “Golden Era” age!! The “Golden Era” clarinets are from serial # 72,000-250,000 (1965-1979)! This reason this year is sought after from players around the world is they would allow the grenadilla wood to air dry for 20 years to ensure the wood was the finest grade and that it wouldn’t crack. This is your chance to own one at a very affordable price. This clarinet has been COMPLETELY restored to play and look phenomenal!! The pads are BRAND NEW top of the line white leather pads! The keys are nickel silver plated and show some wear as it’s a vintage model but nothing that affect the playability, the keys were hand polished and shined up nicely. There are some areas that show some nicks and scratches as it dates back to the early 60’s but there are no cracks or chips! The clarinet plays easy from top to bottom and look fantastic. The sound is very focused and mellow, whatever adjectives you want to use the sound is Gorgeous! The case is a used Kaces case in good workable condition. This clarinet also comes complete with a Professional The Masteller R45 mouthpiece (0 value alone), ligature and cap in good clean condition! We also included 2 Vandoren size 3 reeds!
