H. SELMER PARIS SERIES 9 PRO CLARINET WOOD NICKEL KEYS NICE. NO CRACKS. 1960’S.
Up for auction is this vintage Henri Selmer series 9 clarinet, beautifully handcrafted in Paris, France. The Granadilla wood is crack free upon inspection and also free of repairs.
The nickel finish on the keys has minor wear and could be cleaned and buffed for a brighter finish, but all move freely
All pads and corks are in fair/good condition and are not overly deteriorated from age.
Serial numbers are matching ** S6488
I cannot seem to Trace back the exact age but it looks to be an S9 N•1 from 1960-61 based on older catalogue pictures and what I’ve researched.
All extra items in the pictures are included as well as the original hard carrying case. This clarinet is by no means perfect. It has small blemishes here and there, but has aged beautifully and has a hundred stories to tell. Please review all pictures and ask questions prior to bidding.
