Normandy Covered Hole (Plateau) Bb Clarinet in Great Shape !
Hello All!
I have a LeBlanc "Normandy" model covered hole (plateau) system Bb clarinet for sale. These clarinets are great for children, adults with small hands, those with physical limitations or saxophone players that really hate the rings on a clarinet!
Plateau system clarinets are not all that common. This one is in really nice condition. It was taken apart, cleaned, oiled, recorked and repadded as needed. The pads are a combination of professional grade double skin pads and synthetic pads, which appear to have been original (if you want these replaced even though they are clean and sealing, please let me know).
The horn is tight and seals very well. The key heights have been adjusted so that there are no "fuzzy" notes, which is common with this type of clarinet.
The mechanism is nickel plated and there is no missing plating on the keys. This clarinet comes with a Yamaha student clarinet mouthpiece.The case is clean and in good condition.
