RARE Boehm Ab Sopranino OTELLO MILANO CLARINET/excellent rebuildable/mouthpiece

Description

This is a rare Boehm system Ab sopranino wooden clarinet stamped OTELLO MILANO, and Made In Italy. Serial number is "5" stamped immediately above "089". Clarinet has 2 pieces: the bell, and the body which includes the barrel length in its one piece. Total length assembled from bottom edge of bell to top of mouthpiece receiver is 11 7/8 inches, or
30.16 cm.
I blew the clarinet with this reed and mouthpiece, all fingers off all keys; it played a Concert Eb.
The instrument is in excellent rebuildable condition - not playable now; keys all moving freely. The only issue may be a couple of fine, tight, short cracks in the bell tenon, though I think it more likely they're surface checks or even just faint cleaning scratches. Comes with perfectly fitting French mouthpiece and its cap & ligature. The reed that was on it is a Vandoren that was cut down in length to fit (see last photo). No case.
