SELMER SERIES 10 PROFESSINAL CLARINET (France) - FRESH OVERHAUL, BEAUTIFUL SOUND

Description

This beautiful Selmer10 B-flat clarinet has no cracks or repaired cracks.
The clarinet was overhauled:
1.It was completely disassembled, keys and tenon rings cleaned
2. All wooden parts were

lightly
)
oiled inside and and out
3.
Tone holes checked for any imperfections (none found)
The last two pictures show  the process of refurbishing. You can appreciate beautiful wood and excellent condition of tone holes. No hidden cracks.
All pads replaced with high quality Gore-Tex pads, except for the register key where
a cork pad was
installed to improve throat Bb response.
All tenon corks and most of the key corks replaced. Tenon cork was also replaced on the included Vandoren B45 mouthpiece.
There is a small chip on the outer tenon rim of the lower joint  (seen on pic. #9) that has no effect on play-ability.
Both joints hold air pressure and vacuum/suction.
I play-tested the instrument: the tone is nice, it
plays evenly across all registers -no dull notes (like C# on many Buffets)
Tuning is good- on par with much more expensive instruments.
The case is in good (for a used one) condition, has a few small scuffs outside and some discolorations inside where tenon corks contact the fabric- please check the pictures. Springs on the sliding locks work fine.
This clarinet was made in France.
This instrument is an excellent choice for an advanced student or a professional/doubler.
Considering astronomical prices on new Buffets and Selmers,this is a great opportunity to get a professional instrument at a very affordable price, in a condition very close to new.
Please, keep in mind that my clarinet was was completely overhauled by a professional standard.
