his listing is for a vintage Leblanc Bb soprano clarinet. It is a 476, which is a pretty rare model. From what I gather, this was made in the early 1960's. The serial number is 6053 (matching on both main joints). This is a professional level instrument. It is made of grenadilla wood.
This instrument
is in excellent condition.
There are no cracks, nor any evidence of past crack repairs. There are no chips to the tenons or tone hole chimneys. The wood is in excellent condition with a nice tight grain. I have just oiled the bore. The tenon and bell rings are not loose. The key work is all operating as it should. There is normal light wear to the plating. The pads are in very good condition and sealing properly. The corks are also in good shape. There is no 'wobbling' of the joints due to compressed corks. The instrument is nice and clean and plays great from top to bottom.
This instrument comes in a fairly old replacement plastic shell case. It is in good solid condition. There are a few marks on the exterior, but there is no damage to the plastic shell. The inside is clean and odor free with normal light wear and tear.
There is no mouthpiece, ligature, or cap included.
