This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to acquire a low pitch Martin Freres Eb Clarinet owned by very famous clarinetist Sol Yaged who recently passed away. Sol was an American jazz clarinet legend and played with many other world renowned musicians such as Phil Napoleon, Coleman Hawkins, Red Allen, and Jack Teagarden. Included is the clarinet, mouthpiece (also used by Sol), mouthpiece cap, ligature, vintage cork grease, case, a vintage Selmer Paris reed box, and lastly a fingering chart and song book written in Sol's own hand! This set is an absolute time capsule and is a perfect piece for a serious collection. I will include two copies of provenance documents, one a notarized letter confirming that this instrument is part of a small collection of accessories and instruments owned by Sol, and the second is a small list of instruments (with this one obviously being on the list) belonging to Sol. Free shipping in the USA! I will not send photographs of these documents over the internet simply because they could be edited and reproduced, ruining the value of this instrument for the new owner.
