Yamaha YCL-450N Intermediate Bb Clarinet
incorporates some of the distinct qualities of Yamaha's professional and custom clarinets. One of these features is a 65mm barrel design that produces a focused tone and quick response. Players looking to "step-up" will also benefit from the 450N's "blue" steel spring material, sculptured nickel-plated keys and straight tone holes with tapered undercut.
Featuring a bell shape and barrel design similar to that of the professional V Series, the YCL-450N offers a surprisingly 'professional' sound with an easy response. The new bell design gives improved intonation and projection, especially in the all-important lower register, while the new barrel enhances the 450N's response, flexibility and tonal focus.

This item is categorized as Used / Demo Stock but it is still in MINT CONDITION - like new!  This clarinet comes in a NEW case with a NEW mouthpiece, ligature and mouthpiece cap, as well as a NEW Yamaha Clarinet Maintenance Kit, 2 Rico #2 Strength Clarinet Reeds and a name tag.  Demo stock simply means that the instrument was used as a display to promote Yamaha instruments or for other promotional purposes.  We only have a few of these available and this special offer will be removed once we sell out.  The newly designed adjustable thumb-rest fits a variety of hand sizes, allowing the player to develop proper playing technique. Further, a strap ring enables the instrument to be held with less effort. A silver soldered ring and firmer screws give this new feature excellent durability. A new solid and durable ABS resin bell made only of top quality materials results in an improved response and overall lighter instrument. The bell's resonance chamber aids intonation in lower notes and improves projection.
